Cabinet Division says in notification; urges all to pay toll

The government has urged all to pay toll to cross the newly opened Padma Bridge.
"All citizens have to pay toll set by the government, for crossing the Padma Bridge," the Cabinet Division said in a notification issued today (June 26, 2022).
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Stopping vehicles, walking around, and taking pictures on Padma Bridge are completely prohibited and punishable offence, it added.
The Cabinet Division has asked all to remain alert in following the restrictions.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially inaugurated the Padma Bridge yesterday (June 25, 2022).
