BNP today announced a two-day countrywide blockade starting from November 5.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, announced it today at a virtual press briefing after the party's 3-day blockade programme ended today.

A doa mahfil (prayer ceremony) will be held across the country tomorrow for the deceased leaders and activists during the ongoing movement of BNP, he added.

Meanwhile, like-minded parties also announced a two-day countrywide blockade for Sunday and Monday, demanding resignation of the government and general elections under a non-party interim one.
