BNP gets DMP’s nod to hold sit-in tomorrow
The BNP has got Dhaka Metropolitan Police's permission to hold its scheduled sit-in tomorrow in front of the party's Nayapaltan headquarters from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
AZM Zahid Hossain, vice chairman of the party, said they will hold the sit-in peacefully and systematically.
He came up with the announcement after holding talks with the Dhaka Metropolitan Commissioner at the DMP headquarters in Dhaka.
The BNP, joined by like-minded political parties, will hold the programme to press for their 10-point demand including the next general election under a nonpartisan interim government.
