ACC to quiz civil aviation chief engineer Aug 16

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has issued a notice for quizzing Chief Engineer of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Sudhendu Bikash for allegedly misappropriating huge amount of money.

Sudhendu has been asked to appear before the ACC at 10:00am on August 16. 

The letter signed by ACC’s Director Faridur Rahman said Sudhendu has misappropriated hundreds of crores of money by awarding tenders to selective contractors.

“For the sake of proper enquiry, it is very essential to record your (Sudhendu) statement,” reads the letter.

ACC has already formed a two-member committee including Assistant Director Gulshan Anowar Pradhan for the enquiry.
