Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has decided to keep its all circle offices open for 12 hours every day, except Friday, in order to provide its services properly. 

All BRTA circle offices will remain open from 9:00am to 9:00pm every day, except Friday, said a press release issued by the road transport authority this afternoon.

The authorities have instructed to make its decision effective immediately, the release read, adding that the decision will remain effective until further notice.

The decision came a day after the police began “Traffic Week” against unfit vehicles, fake licences and drivers without proper documents amid nationwide student protests demanding safe roads.
