Japanese team visits BUET

A delegation from Centre of the International Cooperation for Computerisation (CICC) of Japan visited Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in the city yesterday, reports UNB.

The delegation, led by CICC Chairman Minoru Ikeda, met the Vice-Chancellor of BUET Prof Nooruddin Ahmed and discussed matters of mutual interest, said a press release.

They also visited the VLSI Laboratory of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Computer Centre of BUET.

The delegation assessed the computing facilities and discussed future cooperation between BUET and CICC.
