PM expresses relief for surviving assassination attempt on Sharif

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her great relief for surviving an assassination attempt on the lives of Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his family members, reports UNB.

In a message to Nawaz Sharif yesterday Sheikh Hasina said: "We have learnt with a deep sense of relief that the Almighty Allah in his eternal mercy has saved you and the members of your family from the assassination attempt on you."

The Prime Minister also expressed her deep shock at the death of innocent victims whose lives were lost as a result of the cowardly act.

She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed sympathy for the members of the bereaved families.

Hasina wished good health and long life of Nawaz Sharif and the members of the family.
