President greets Yasser Arafat

President Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed has felicitated Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and his people on the occasion of the National Day of Palestine to be observed today, reports UNB.

In a message yesterday the President expressed his confidence that the existing bonds of friendship and understanding between two brotherly people will be further strengthened in the years to come.

President Shahabuddin Ahmed also wished for good health, happiness and long life of President Yasser Arafat and the continued progress and prosperity of the Palestinian people, said a press release.
