Hasina to visit Italy in April

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to visit Italy in April this year, reports APB.

It is likely to be a three-day trip, beginning April 6, official sources said yesterday.

As Prime Minister, it will be her second visit to Italy.

The governments of the two countries are now preparing the detailed itinerary of planned visit, the sources added.

Sheikh Hasina visited Rome in October-November, 1996, to attend the World Food Summit.

Italy is one of the top buyers of the Bangladeshi goods, including garments, leather and frozen fish.
