Another Shahbagh arson victim dies

A woman, who suffered burn injuries when miscreants set fire to a bus at Shahbagh on November 28, died at a private hospital in the capital this morning.

Masuma Akter, 30, a senior officer of Rupali Bank, succumbed to her injuries around 11:00am at Dhaka Burn Clinic and Diagnostic Hospital in the capital's Elephant Road, hospital sources said.

With this, the death toll from the arson attack rose to four.

At least 19 people sustained severe burn injuries after arsonists set fire to a bus near Shishu Park on November 28 during an opposition blockade.

Three other victims died at burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital on different dates.
