The sixth annual photography contest and exhibition of photography community Through the Lens: Bangladesh (TTL) concluded at Drik Gallery in the capital on March 27. 

The exhibit, titled “Out of the Box 6” opened at Drik Gallery on March 25.

A host of guests including Hasan Chandan, Shehzad Noorani, Abir Abdullah, Stanley Tan of Sony International Bangladesh Branch and Tanvir Hossain, DGM of Marketing and Sales, Sony International were present at the opening ceremony. 

Internationally acclaimed photographers Abir Abdullah, Vineet Vohra and Saud A Faisal formed the jury of the competition.

The exhibit showcased a bunch of striking photos in three categories: Single Photo, Portfolio/Story and Mobile Photographs. 

In addition to the display of around 70 photographs by the finalists, there were also award announcements in the three categories. 

With the theme 'Out of the Box', the exhibit was aimed to contribute to the development of imagination of photographers so that they can go beyond the clichéd box to capture their imagination thus showcase their creativity. "Out of the box" is an expression that describes non conformal, creative thinking. 

TTL is an online photography community where members are open to share their photos, participate in discussions, study and share knowledge on photography.
