World Theatre Day observed in Kushtia

World Theatre Day 2016 was observed in Kushtia on Sunday, through a few events. Eight cultural organisations, along with Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation organised the programme at Bijoy Ullash Chattar of Kushtia municipality in the evening.

The programme included discussion, songs, recitation and staging a play.

With Ashrafunnahar Dinu, Khulna divisional women's affair secretary of Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation in the chair, the discussion was addressed by Kushtia Municipality Mayor Anwar Ali as chief guest.

Among others, organiser Ashrafuddin Nazu, theatre artiste Mokhlesur Rahman Babu and poet Alam Ara Jui delivered speeches.
