2 “bomb-makers” killed in explosion

Two persons have been killed and three injured in an explosion when they were allegedly making crude bombs in Jessore Sadar upazila.

Ibadul Islam, 38, and Md Sabuj, 29, succumbed to their injuries at 250-bed General Hospital this morning, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports.

The injured victims are undergoing treatment at the same hospital, the daily said.

Police said five people were injured in an explosion when they were making crude bombs at an open field at Andolpota village around 9:00pm yesterday.
