Missing Drik official found dead in Narayanganj

Police found the body of Mohammad Irfanul Islam, accounts and admin officer at Drik Picture Library Limited from Jalkuri area, Superintendent of Police in Narayanganj Khondokar Muhit Uddin told The Daily Star.

“Relatives have identified the body, which is now being kept at Narayanganj Sadar Hospital morgue,” the SP said.

Primarily, it is suspected that Irfan was dumped in Jalkuri area after being killed elsewhere, he added.

“We have come to know that Irfan went missing from Dhanmondi or Kalabagan area in the capital yesterday,” the police official said.

Meanwhile, Md Saleh Ahmed, senior officer at Drik Picture Library Limited, told The Daily Star that a general diary has been filed with Kalabagan Police Station after Irfan went missing yesterday.
