Rain likely in Dhaka today

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Dhaka today, the met office said.

According to the weather forecast of Bangladesh Meteorological Department, it is likely to occur also in Tangail, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Sylhet and Rangpur.

The weather may remain dry with temporary cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the met office in its morning forecast said.

A mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna and Rajshahi divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj and Dinajpur and it may continue, the forecast added.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
