10th parliament session till May 6

The 10th session of the parliament will continue till May 5 with nine working days.

The decision was taken at a meeting of Business Advisory Committee at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban this afternoon, meeting sources said.

The meeting empowered the Speaker to increase duration of the session.

With Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina and Leader of the Opposition Raushan Ershad.

The House sitting started at 5:00pm today after the meeting of Business Advisory Committee.
