Two youths murdered in Gazipur

Two youths have been hacked to death by unidentified criminals in Ershadnagar area under Tongi of Gazipur city.

Police recovered the bodies of Jumman Miah, 26, and Shariful Islam Sharif, 32, yesterday morning.

Jumman, son of Harun, and Sharif, son of Alauddin, are inhabitants of the area.

Jahirul Islam, sub-inspector of Tongi Police Station, said locals spotted the bodies in the morning and informed them.

The throat-slit bodies also bore several injury marks, he said, adding that they were investigating the murder.
