Keep your bowling secrets unexposed
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday suggested that cricketer Mustafizur Rahman should take required precautions to stretch his career.
“He [Mustafiz] needs to be more cautious so that the secrets of his bowling techniques remain unexposed... he should play limited matches to avoid injuries as first bowlers generally get exposed to repeated injury problem,” Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal quoted the PM as saying after witnessing a video documentary on the cutter master along with her cabinet colleagues after an ECNEC meeting.
The minister said the premier took pride in the player's performance and expressed her all good wishes for him.
Kamal, former chairman of International Cricket Council, said careers of several renowned fast bowlers like Michael Holding and Joel Garner didn't last long as they were exposed to repeated injuries.
