Ruling coalition to demo Jun 19 protesting secret killings

Ruling Awami League led-14 party-alliance will form human chain across the country on June 19 protesting the ongoing secret killings and militant activities.

Apart from this, the leaders of the ruling quarter will also take up programmes across the country after the Eid festival to make the people aware of the militancy issue.

AL presidium member Mohammad Nasim made the announcement after holding a meeting with the alliance leaders held at Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office in Dhaka this afternoon.

The alliance also expressed disappointment and criticised role of the law enforcers for their failure to arrest the militants and criminals who are involved in the recent secrete killings, meeting sources said.

They also extended their opinions in favour of continuation the recently launched countrywide crackdown with the help of people in a bid to eliminate militancy from the country.
