A man, who was sentenced by a mobile court to one month's imprisonment for consuming drugs, died of cardiac arrest at Dinajpur Sadar Hospital on Saturday. The deceased, Mohammad Monsur Ali, 47, son of Shamsul Alam, was a resident of Dinajpur Satellite Town. Monsur fell sick following a chest pain on Saturday morning. He was taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead around 8:40am, said Jail Superintendent Mohammad Jabed Mehdi.
