eReader Prestigio
There are a lot of complaints when it comes to ebooks, most of which stem from "It just doesn't feel like a book". It's a reasonable thing to be bothered about. But despite that, a large number of us still have to rely on them during hour long commutes. What lacks in it's aesthetics more than makes up for it in flexibility. And that's where the need for a good reliable reader comes in.
eReader Prestigio has the traditional white background which you can easily change into a black one if you need something easy on your eyes. There's also the a sepia background, which I'm pretty sure you'll be using the most, which tries to emulate that light coffee color of a good old book. The brightness control is just one tap away. There's also a semi transparent indicator below showing your progress through the book and how much charge you have left which are all some nice touch that doesn't really clunk up the UI. Another thing to keep in mind when choosing your reader app is the formats it'll support. Thankfully eReader Prestigio doesn't suffer from that with common formats such as EPUB, PDF, MOBI, FB2, RTF all being supported.
The library itself doesn't necessarily set itself apart from the other popular reader apps but it's certainly sleek. It also shows off your progress in each book which I found pleasing.
Overall eReader Prestigio gets two important things right which will make me reccomend it, simplicity and a smooth interface. The app is free, while the premium version removes the ad bar beneath the library, which is not intrusive in the first place in the free version. Try it out and see for yourself if it scratches that reading itch.
