An innovative online-based beauty contest, Kumarika Miss Natural is an annual event since 2013 that ventures to find the beauty icon of the country, someone who is naturally beautiful and personifies  the sayings of the brand, 'Love nature and live natural.' 

For the participants of this year's competition, the fairy tale journey began three months ago and ended with the announcement of the winners at the grand finale, which took place on the evening of 7 January, 2017 at Gardenia in Gulshan-2. 

This year's Champion Crown of 'Kumarika Miss Natural 2016' went to Jerin Moushan, and just like previous years, the winner gets to act in the Valentine's Day drama sponsored by Kumarika. The first and second runners-up were Kaniz Fatema Surjo and Shuly Akter Rodayla respectively. There were other special awards which were won by Sadia Iqbal Nabila – Most Beautiful Hair, Afroza Islam Tumpa – Most Beautiful Skin, and Nusrat Jahan Nizum, The Courageous Beauty.

The gala event began with the inauguration speech by Nusrat Jahan, Category Business Manager, Hemas Consumer Brands Limited, the mother company of Kumarika Hair Oil. The competition was judged by talented faces of the media, beautician Rahima Sultana Rita, actor Tahsan Khan, actress Mehjabin Chowdhury and director Mabrur Rashid Banna. 

The show was highlighted by a stage drama and a mesmerising performance by Karishma Sanu Sovvota. 

Kumarika Miss Natural, over the years has created a huge platform for aspiring youngsters; it also moulded them to accepting who they are and to embrace the beauty found in nature. 

This beauty contest not only promotes natural beauty but also supports the conservation of nature through awareness towards nature and of healthy living.
