Draw leaves Abahani on the verge

Abahani were on the verge of elimination after being held to a a goalless draw against Pocheon Citizen FC in their second match of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup at MA Aziz Stadium on Monday.

The Bangladesh Premier League champions, who came into the match one the back of a 0-1 defeat at the hands of TC Sports Club of Maldives, wasted a number of scoring chances in today's match.

Abahani have one point from two matches and will have to wait for the results of the other teams as Pochoen have four points from two matches, one ahead of TC Sports Club who have played one match.
