PM's flight glitch: Court seeks probe report May 7
A Dhaka court today asked the Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) to submit on May 7 the probe report of the case filed over the emergency landing of an aircraft carrying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on November 27 last year.
Metropolitan Magistrate Ahsan Habib passed the order after CTTC Inspector Mahbub Alom, also investigation officer (IO) of the case, failed to submit the probe report complying with a court order.
3 Biman officials remanded again
Another court in Dhaka today placed three Biman officials -- Technician Siddiqur Rahman, Engineer (technician) Shah Alam and Engineer (officer) Najmul Haq -- on a one-day remand again.
Metropolitan Magistrate Sharifuzzaman Ansari passed the order after the IO produced them before the court.

On November 27 last year, the Biman aircraft, carrying the PM, made an emergency landing in Turkmenistan.
The Biman authorities filed the case with Airport Police Station on December 20 last year against its nine staff.

Three inquiry committees were formed following the incident -- one by the civil aviation ministry, one by Biman and another by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.
