'Moudud's Gulshan house' being taken down
Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) today started taking down the house on Gulshan Avenue from where BNP leader Moudud Ahmed has been evicted recently.
Around 8:15am, a group of workers appointed by Rajuk started the demolition work, Executive Magistrate Khandker Waliur Rahman told The Daily Star.

There is no design of this building neither does it have Rajuk approval and that is why it is being taken down, the magistrate said.
Asked that Moudud claimed he has the design of this building, Khandker Waliur Rahman said, “That is his matter”.

The magistrate declined to comment further in this regard.
Senior BNP leader Moudud Ahmed was evicted from his three-decade-long residence on June 7 as he lost the legal battle over the ownership of the house worth Tk 300 crore in the capital's Gulshan.
