Sylhet Board tops with 72pc pass rate

Sylhet Board has secured the top position among eight general educational boards with 72 percent pass rate in the HSC examinations this year.
Some 65,000 students appeared in the examination under Sylhet Board. Of them, 46,797 have come out successful.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The pass rate of Rajshahi Board is 71.30 percent, while it is 70.28 percent in Barisal, 70.02 percent in Jessore, 69.74 percent in Dhaka, 65.44 in Dinajpur, 61.09 percent in Chittagong and 49.52 percent in Comilla Board.
