Neymar's PSG move concocted at Messi’s wedding?
Spanish media outlet Marca reports that it was at Lionel Messi’s wedding where Brazilian Neymar cooked up his plan to join Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian had attended Lionel Messi’s wedding at Rosario then flew to Brazil along with Dani Alves to attend the festival.
Neymar’s appearance at the wedding was brief but there he talked to Alves who was mulling over the option of joining Manchester City after quitting Juventus.
Now Marca says that it was at the wedding where the duo changed their minds about their future destination.
Alves had taunted Juventus by saying that their star player Paulo Dybala should seek a move out of Turin if he wanted to further his career. Rumour suggests the strict and defensive style of the Turin giants was one of the reasons for him to leave Juventus.
Marca says that Alves and Dybala shared the same opinion of Juventus’ style of play and that the Argentinean has one foot out of the door and might join PSG next summer.
While the Dybala rumours seem like utter speculation at this moment however the fact that Neymar and Alves discussed their future at Leo Messi’s wedding does hold some water.
Alves joined PSG and recently admitted that it was Neymar who convinced him to join the Paris team.
Neymar and his father are currently trying to claim the 26m euros that was intended as a incentive when he signed a new deal with Barcelona in 2016.
Barcelona, who placed the money with a notary have now secured the incentive saying that Neymar did not abide by the clauses of the agreement for the bonus payment.
