Mashrafe heaps praise on Tigers

Bangladesh’s ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza may not have been part of the Test team anymore, but he is as jubilated by the Tigers’ victory over the Australia as the 14 members of the squad. Mashrafe was ecstatic about the performances of the players and posted a facebook status full of praise.

“Tamim u brilliant, maybe one off the best openers world has. Taizul great bowling mate, Miraz u rock, Mushi had a little but effective captain’s innings, others have supported very well on field.”

The former Test skipper reserved special praise for Shakib Al Hasan, who bagged the man-of-the-match award with ten wickets and a half-century. “But one guy who kept his all answer for this moment......Sakib u r a living legend, when u fight no one can fight like u. Mate u r born for 22 yards.”
