Kohli out for a duck, Australia make early inroads
Australia are off to a great start as Nathan Coulter-Nile captured three early wickets against India at Chennai.
Coluter-Nile bagged the wickets of Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey to leave India stuttering at 3 for 34 runs.
Maxwell took a belter of a catch after Virat Kohli slashed a Coulter-Nile delivery over point. Maxwell threw his right arm above his head as he leapt in mid-air to hang onto an ashtonishing catch as India skipper Virat Kohli went for a duck.
Paceman Markus Stoinis removed the dangerous Rohit Sharma to leave India at 4 for 64 in the 16th over. Sharma top-edged a length ball and was caught at deep-square leg by Coulter-Nile.
KM Jadhav was caught out to mid-wicket off the bowling of Stoinis. India are 90 for the loss of five wickets at the end of 22 overs in the first of the five ODIs.
