13 fall prey to doping gangs in Natore, Rajshahi
At least 13 people fell prey to doping gangs in Rajshahi and Natore today days ahead of the festive season of Eid-ul-Azha.
Seven people, masons by profession, were found unconscious at Kantakhali, reports our Rajshahi correspondent. Their valuables were missing.
They were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for treatment.
They were all heading home ahead of Eid, Iftekhair Alam, assistant commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, said. They fell unconscious after eating.
In Natore, six people fell victim to doping gangs. They lost all valuables and were left stranded and unconscious, reports our local correspondent.
Natore Railway Station’s Station Master Ashoke Kumar Chakrabarty endorsed the information and said four of the victims might be cattle traders.
