Doors to be shut for rebels: Quader

Awami League Secretary General Obaidul Quader today warned his fellows that the door will be shut for those who will go against the party’s decision in the upcoming elections.

“If anyone goes beyond the party’s decision, the door of AL will be closed for them,” said Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister. 

The minister was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the party’s membership collection and renewal programme at Rajshahi Medical College Auditorium, reports our Rajshahi staff correspondent.

He said, “It doesn’t matter who is the candidate, this time ‘boat’ is our candidate, that’s why; we must work together for ‘boat’ to forget all the differences and opinions.”

Quader also called upon party men for taking preparation for the city election.

He also instructed the party leaders and activists to avoid terrorists, extortionists, land grabbers and anti-liberation forces in the party.
