Man killed in Dhaka road crash

A person was killed in a road accident in airport area of Dhaka early today.

The deceased, aged around 30 years, could not be identified yet, Nure Ajam Miah, officer-in-charge (OC) of Airport Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The accident took place around 12:30am as an unidentified vehicle hit the man at Kawla foot-over bridge, leaving him dead on the spot, the police official said.

On information, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue, added the OC.
