Nasir warned over code of conduct breach
Sylhet Sixers captain Nasir Hossain and manager Hasibul Hossain were in breach of BCB's level 1 code of conduct during the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) match against Dhaka Dynamites at Sylhet International Cricket stadium.
The opening game of the BPL T20 clash saw Nasir-led Sixers thrash Shakib Al Hasan's Dhaka Dynamites by nine wickets.
The breach occurred after the toss was delayed by six minutes and due to Sylhet Sixer's failure in submitting the team sheet properly. The duo were charged by on-field umpires Masudur Rahman Mukul, Riaz Uddin, third umpire Tanvir Ahmed and fourth umpire Aktaruzzaman.
According to Bangladesh Cricket Board' (BCB) media release, both Nasir and Hasibul accepted the charges and thus a formal hearing will not be taking place.
Due to the breach of Article 2.1.1, Nasir and Hasibul have accumulated one demerit point to their disciplinary record. If a person accumulates four demerit points they get suspended for one game.
