Missing engineer’s body recovered in Sukrabad

Law enforcers recovered the body of a marine engineer from Dhaka’s Sukrabad area last night, a day after he went missing from the capital.

On information, police recovered the body of Rafikul Hasan Rimon,42, from the ground floor of a ten-storey under-construction building in Sukrabad around 11:30 pm, said Golam Mostafa, a sub-inspector (SI) of New Market Police Station.

Rimon went missing after coming out of his in-laws’ house at New Elephant road Saturday night, the SI said.

His father Kahlil Ullah filed a general diary (GD) with New Market Police Station yesterday morning, he added.
