MP’s car catches fire in Dhaka
A private car of a member of parliament caught fire near the High Court in Dhaka this afternoon.
Reserve bench lawmaker Nasima Ferdushe was not inside her car when it caught fire around 1:07pm. No one was hurt in the fire incident.
Three units of firefighters doused the blaze within 15 minutes after it caused due to a technical glitch, said Mahfus Riben, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
“My son Mahamudul Hasan Tumon was alone in the car and came out safely right after seeing the fire,” Nasima told The Daily Star over phone.
