No political crisis in Bangladesh: Nasim
Awami League Presidum Member Mohammad Nasim today said there is no political crisis in the country centering the upcoming general election.
"There is no political crisis in Bangladesh and there will never be in future," Nasim, also health and family welfare minister, said while addressing a function at the National Press Club in Dhaka this noon.
Nasim said many people from different quarters including BNP have been predicting that political crisis will be created in the country following the court verdict that sentenced jail to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
"No crisis is being prevailed centring the upcoming national polls," Nasim said calling upon the BNP not to create any unstable situation in the country over the judgment.
Awami League does not hatch any plan to keep any political party or a person out of the electoral process, Nasim said.
The people, who are claiming that the verdict against Khaleda Zia was given only to keep her away of the election, do not believe in the rule of law and they have no respect to the court, he added.
"We want to hold the next general election ensuring participation of all political parties," he said.
