Incapacity is what they have, Quader says about BNP
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said BNP is lacking in organisational capacity.
Speaking at a programme in Narayanganj over BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s imprisonment, the Awami League leader said: “BNP could not fathom that their programme would not move the general people.”
“Now, they (BNP) are branding their incapacity as peaceful protest programme,” Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said, our local correspondent reports.
Quader was referring to the peaceful protest programmes BNP has been carrying out demanding release of their chief Khaleda Zia, who has been jailed over graft charges amounting to Tk 2.10 crore.
“It must be clear that they are protesting a decision of the court. They are not protesting against the government,” Quader said in the programme.
