39 get Agrani Bank - Shishu Academy Shishu Sahitya Puraskar

A total of 39 writers and artists were awarded today the Agrani Bank-Shishu Academy Shishu Sahitya Puraskar for their contributions in respective fields.

The awards were givenfor the years of 2012 to 2018 under seven categories.

Popular writer Imdadul Haq Milon for his book Shaon O Ter Bodhura under the category of story, novel and fairytale, and Dr Ali Azgor for Biggyaner Mojer Project in health, science and technology category, from 2015-2016; Shyamoli Nasrin Chowdhury for her book titled Shaheed Dr Abdul Alim Chowdhury in the category of Bangabandhu, Liberation War, biography got the award among others.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed over the awards to the winners as a chief guest of the progarmme presided by noted writer prominent litterateurs Selina Hossain held at the Shishu Academy this morning.

Agrani Bank Limited Managing Director Md Shams Ul Islam told the audience at the award ceremony that due to some reasons the award was not given on a regularly in the past six years.

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroze Chumki attended the programme as a special guest among others.
