Both of them are students of New Jhautala Primary School, said victim Alamin’s father Md Suman.
“We were returning from school around 11:30am when an object wrapped in red tape came in contact with my leg and it went off,” Sohan said.
Alamin, who sustained minor injuries, was given primary treatment at CMCH while Sohan was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital with leg and hand injury, said Dr Touhid, medical officer (MO) of the hospital’s orthopedic surgery ward.
