Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI) of Daffodil International University (DIU) in association with Career Development Center (CDC) and DIU HR Club jointly organised "HR Career Adda 2018" for the students on April 1, 2018 at 71 Milonayaton of the university. Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, VC of DIU graced the inaugural session as the chief guest. Md. Musharrof Hossain, President of Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM) & FBHRO was the keynote speaker. The programme was presided over by Prof. Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Dean of HRDI, DIU.

The main objective of the event was to have an interaction between the HR professionals and university academics, students and graduates concerning HR issues. A total of 150 registered participants including a good number of HR practitioners attended the programme. In this event, the keynote speaker delivered the speech on "Career in HR, Develop Your Future".

A panel discussion was also organised where Prof. Sobhani; AKM Mahmudul Haque, Regional Human Resources Manager, South Asia & Africa at VF Corp; Quazi M. Ahmed, President, BOLD, and Vice President of FBHRO; and Aparna Barma, SHRM-SCP, People & Culture Manager, Oxfam, shared valuable information as the panel speakers.
