Nursery at your doorstep

BRAC Nursery, a social enterprise of BRAC, has launched its first ever Caravan Activation in Dhaka to raise awareness on the importance of urban greenery through planting trees in a bid to counter the effects of climate change and carbon emissions.

The caravan nursery started on April 13 and will continue till April 28 from 10:00am to 6:00pm everyday, showcasing its exclusive products and services in 28 spots in the capital to encourage citizens to plant trees in empty spaces.

The caravan has already visited more than 8 spots in Dhaka including Uttara, Gulshan, Banani Dhanmondi, Bashundhara City, Mirpur and reached huge number of people by conveying information directly along with leaflets.

Beginning its operation in 1988 with the objective to promote the growth of horticulture sector in Bangladesh, BRAC Nursery has been producing best quality saplings and seedlings and making it available throughout the country.

They also offer income support to small households while contributing to the fruit and timber production in Bangladesh.
