La Liga confirms Iniesta exit?
Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta was taken off with two minutes left to play and the legendary midfielder went off amidst loud cheers and applause in what felt like an emotional final for the Barcelona man.
Barca thrashed Sevilla 5-0 in the final of the Copa Del Rey yesterday and the midfielder had tears in his eyes when he went to the bench. The setting had the feel of a goodbye as this may have been Iniesta’s last final in a Barcelona shirt after reports of a possible move to China were confirmed.
Iniesta himself had said that he will confirm his decision this week.
However, La Liga posted an image of Iniesta on social media and captioned it with the words ‘thank you’ while their tweet read “The Final of Iniesta”.
While Iniesta is yet to confirm his future, La Liga’s message has managed to cause a stir among fans about Iniesta’s possible move away from the Camp Nou.

Barcelona president admitted that Iniesta has an offer but also reminded that Iniesta is a big name for FC Barcelona.
"I know that Iniesta has an offer, but Barca is the club of his life and he has a lifetime contract," Bartomeu said to Mundo Deportivo .
"We have the best in the world who is [Lionel] Messi, but Iniesta marks a time in the history of Barca and football."
