Nur Hossain shown arrested in graft case
Nur Hossain, a condemned convict of the much-talked seven- murder in Narayanganj, was shown arrested today in a graft case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission in 2016.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Pronab Kumar Hui came up the order following a petition filed by ACC Assistant Director Abdul Wadud, also investigation officer of the case.
On August 1, 2016, ACC Deputy Director Julfiker Ali filed the case against Nur Hossain with Ramna Police Station for allegedly possessing property worth Tk 3,03,86,805 beyond known source of income and concealing information wealth worth Tk 2,85,57,492, to ACC.
Prime accused Nur Hossain and 25 others were awarded death penalty in Narayanganj 7-murder case on January 16, 2017.
