Dettol Bangladesh has organised its 'Give Life a Hand' campaign today to celebrate The Global Hand Washing Day and help combat preventable deaths from diarrhoea and save children's lives through raising awareness about the importance of hand washing with soap and driving better hygiene habits.
As part of the campaign, Dettol had invited people to engage on its Facebook page and post a picture of their soap-cleaned hands and upload it on social media with #HealthyHand hash tag.
Celebrities like Sharmin Nahar Lucky, Iresh Zaker, Munmun, Mithila and Kankan have joined the campaign with their picture of soap-cleaned hands and video messages on Dettol Bangladesh's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Along with celebrities, doctors, corporate personnel, TV presenters, and businessmen also participated in this global hand washing day campaign.
Groups like BDCyclists also took part in the campaign and shared their photos.
Dettol pledged to teach a child healthy hand washing habits for every #HealthyHand picture.
#HealthyHand photo submissions from Bangladesh have so far been encouraging with over 150 posts and counting.
To join the global initiative, people from all walks of life have posted their #HealthyHand picture.
