India PM Modi accepts Kohli’s fitness challenge
India Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi accepted a fitness challenge thrown down at him from India’s superstar cricketer Virat Kohli, who had posted a video of himself performing a lower abdomen exercise.
I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni Bhai for the same. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay pic.twitter.com/e9BAToE6bg Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) May 23, 2018
It was India’s Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore who had earlier urged Kohli to take up the challenge by posting a video as part of a campaign to get Indians to focus on getting fitter.
Along with Kohli, Rathore challenged 2012 London Olympic medallist Saina Nehwal and Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan to join in the campaign by doing 10 push-ups. He urged people to post pictures and videos of their fitness attempts and regimes on social media.
The Prime Minister of India tweeted his response to Virat Kohli's fitness challenge today. "Challenge accepted," he wrote in reply to the cricketer, promising to share his own fitness video soon.
Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit https://t.co/qdc1JabCYb
