Sahana Bajpaie To Receive 'the Bengal's Pride' Award Today

Renowned singer and Rabindra Sangeet exponent Sahana Bajpaie has been honoured with 'The Bengal's Pride' award, which will be conferred to her at The House of Commons, United Kingdom Parliament today. The Bengal's Pride award is the first of its kind to recognise and honour extraordinary achievements of the Bengali diaspora in the UK as well as the Bengali community in India and Bangladesh. It is hosted by Asian Voice and Gujarat Samachar, which are UK's oldest and leading news-weeklies for the British Asian community. “I am honoured to be chosen for this award, and I thank everyone for supporting me throughout my career,” says Sahana.
