Rubaiyet Kabir Rabita
Skin Care
Amidst the thousands of chemical beauty enhancing products occupying the cosmetic industry, Rabita's skin care regime consists mostly of herbal and home-made recipes. Being a beautician cum makeup artist she knows how essential it is to use a moisturizer before applying make-up and also to remove all the makeup properly before going to bed. Rabita has a sensitive skin so she doesn't like experimenting much. Face packs are her regular essentials and it's impossible to pass a single day without using one. Her packs include lentil pastes and herbal uptans freshly prepared at home to cleanse her skin regularly.
Keeping aside the trendy ones, she uses NIP+ FAB face wash on a regular basis, but sometimes while going through acne problems she uses the TEA TREE face wash from THE BODY SHOP as an essential remedy. She also prefers using homemade orange peel masks to remove acne marks from her sensitive skin.
For moisturizer she uses Cetaphil which also works as an anti-allergic agent. Every night she spends at least 20 minutes to perform her daily skin care routine before going to bed. She removes all her makeup with GARNIER Micellar Water (blue), applies a face mask and uses Cetaphil to moisturize her skin. She also uses a lip butter from THE BODY SHOP (cocoa flavor) to soften her lips.
Hair Care
Hair has never been a matter of concern for Rabita as she is blessed with thick and long hair. She avoids styling her hair much, even during her shoots, in order to protect them from damage. She avoids using oil due to excessive dandruff problem. She prefers shampooing her hair every day. Head and Shoulders Shampoo and TRESemmé Conditioner are her constant companion when it comes to hair care.
MakeUp
Being a makeup artist herself, she needs to be on point almost always as she meets and greets numerous clients daily. She prefers a nude and natural tone on herself over heavy makeup. To her, makeup is nothing more than a way to hide blemishes and imperfections, thus she uses them effectively. Being a night-owl, her biggest problem is the under eye dark circles for which she uses a high coverage concealer. She does her base with a high coverage foundation from Estee Lauder which does not react with her sensitive skin. She mixes her moisturizer with the foundation for a lighter coverage and it also gives her skin a natural dewy effect. Then she uses the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer to contour her face and The Rodeo drive Highlighter from OFRA Cosmetics to accentuate her features. She also uses a blend of these two as her regular eye color. She completes the look lining her eyes with Mac's blacktrack gel liner, Dior's mascara, accompanied by a nude lip shade.
Party Wear
Saree is her first choice when it comes to attending parties but wearing them becomes difficult at times due to her busy schedule. So, she usually hits the parties wearing long dresses or designer kurtis. For sudden plans and home parties, cape dresses are her absolute escape, since these are easy to wear and don't need high maintenance. She likes to accessorize her look with designer watches, shoes and bags like Gucci, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, etc.
Regular Wear
Rabita prefers wearing black to work because she was instructed in her makeup school that black makes a makeup artist look more professional. Black shirt with a black shade pant, and she is all set for work every morning!
