National Film Award winning actor Bidya Sinha Mim has been trailblazing since her start in Channel i's 'Lux Superstar'. While she had a successful footing in small screen ventures, the actor has been solely sticking to films for quite some time. Mim is currently anticipating the release of her latest venture, which she talks about in an interview with The Daily Star.

How do you feel 'Sultan: The Saviour' will be received?

Mim: I have high hopes for the release of this film, and I believe that the audience will love what they see. I have no doubts of its success in the box office.

What was it like to work with Jeet?

Mim: As an artiste, he is exceptional. Despite him being a superstar, he is quite humble and is always ready to help others. I have always admired him as an actor, but it is only after working with him that I realised how respectful he is of others. I am glad to be given this opportunity to share screen space with him.

The film was first released in India. How did the audience respond to it?

Mim: People reacted very positively to the film. The narrative and songs proved to be very popular with the audience. I was in India during its release, and was blown away by its success there!

How would you evaluate your own work in the film?

Mim: I try my best to handle every film with utmost care, and thanks to the direction of Raja Chanda, I was able to flourish under his guidance. I play the role of a lawyer in the film, which is something very new to me.

What other films are you currently working on?

Mim: I am working on Daag at the moment, and also talking to a few directors regarding offers.
