Seminar on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman held at National Museum
The Bangladesh National Museum has arranged a month-long programme comprising of photography and memorabilia exhibitions, poetry recitals, film screenings and seminars based on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the Father of the Nation's 43rd death anniversary.
On Saturday afternoon, an educational and cultural seminar about Bangladesh and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held at Begum Sufia Kamal Auditorium, Bangladesh National Museum. Minister of Cultural Affairs, Assaduzzaman Noor, MP, was the chief guest. Trustee Member of the Liberation War Museum and prominent writer Mofidul Hoque was the special guest. Also present were Asim Kumar Ukil, General Secretary of Awami League's central working committee, Golam Kuddus, Sammilito Sangskritik Jote's President and Professor Dr M Wahiduzzaman, Noakhali Science and Technology University's Vice-Chancellor.
Minister of Cultural Affairs, Assaduzzaman Noor, MP, spoke at the programme. He noted that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was someone who held the field of liberal arts and humanities in high regard.
