Australian High Commission Pays Tribute

Recently, the Australian High Commission and US Embassy Dhaka jointly hosted a special programme called 'Music Buzz', with talented Australian diplomats Amy Sheridan, James Dillon, Jane Hardy and Swedish Embassy's Magdalena Skarp performing at the American Center Dhaka. Australian High Commissioner Julia Niblett thanked the American Center for inviting the Australian High Commission to participate in the wonderful event attended by young Bangladeshi music lovers.

The diplomats paid tribute to the anniversary of the 'Concert for Bangladesh' held in August, 1971 in Madison Square Garden, New York, to raise international awareness and raise funds for refugees from Bangladesh during the Liberation War.
